This new gaming-focused network, that featured some of the elites from Riot and other major gaming IP’s, looked to myself and my team for insight, consulting, creative direction, and a full brand re-work.

We developed separate channels for the brand that had their own unique strategy and branding. My team and I made the content less about being a billboard for their talent, and more about original, core-focused, social forward engagement pieces that served actual gamers and all those interested in gaming, esports, tech, and nerd culture.
Our following grew by over 50k on Instagram and over 250k on TikTok in just a few months.

Utilizing popular trends, memes, releases, and lingo to create original content that both trolls and celebrates games (and gamers) as whole that yielded amazing results and a gigantic increase in engagement for the brand.
RECURRING CONTENT SERIES
We developed weekly recurring content series that celebrated both games and gamers by repurposing UGC with our own spin. Unique branding and stylization drove those good vibes from nostalgia and giving props to tech-based life hacks/ideas and epic plays.
VIRALITY
Our original content resonated with both the core and mainstream and it showed with viral levels of engagement in the millions, reposts by popular gaming channels, and multiple reddit front-pages.
CONSOLE GIVEAWAYS
We gave away Playstation 5’s through a partnership with RAD along with Nintendo Switch’s that were custom wrapped in Venn colors.

CYBERPUNK GIVEAWAY
To celebrate the release of (what everyone thought was going to be a genre-defining game) Cyberpunk 2077, we held a giveaway for 100 free codes, utilizing the art direction behind the game, a scavenger hunt (that used tactics to boost our social algorithm), along with re-creating the iconic “Wake Up Samurai / Keanu Reeves” spot with full production, talent, and motion graphics.
Using the new found success of our new social creative and strategy developed by my team, we pitched and were able to secure the official TikTok broadcast of E3. Diving into 9:16 Video Production with full-chat and host-driven post show(s), Viral TikTok content, and engaging social pieces. Our numbers defied expectation and our content was a major talking-point of nearly every IP at the show. We were also the first E3 broadcast in history to deliver in 9:16.

I developed high-production, quickly consumable vignettes (in the vein of Key and Peele) that both simultaneously celebrated and trolled gamer attitudes which we then executed properly for Instagram, Youtube, and TikTok. These resonated very highly with both the core and broad along with incredible paid-media / ad retention.
“Rage Quit” ended up going viral (and coincidentally is actually based on me….I know, yikes).
