For 2017’s big console launch, Xbox created a coordinated support plan with rolling takeovers and assets that connected regions across the world. The international Xbox One X launch resulted in 29 million impressions, 1.6 million engagements, and 1.7 million views, surpassing its previous launch averages by +124%. Working with both the broadcast team and client, we brought this campaign to levels beyond expectations and had users truly Feel True Power.
When Xbox One X launch month arrived, the social channels were finally ready. In an environment primed for hardware love, Xbox’s sharp shots of the “world’s most powerful console” sparked and caught fire. The launch was a major success and vastly exceeded sales expectations.
When MIcrosoft announced they were working on a new console, the working title was Project Scorpio. So obviously, with the launch of Xbox One X, Microsoft would launch a limited edition Project Scorpio edition. My team handled the campaign, photography, and overall beautification of this console to the public eye.
